How the cut-readiness cleanup works
Three independent passes, run in whatever order you like, on a copy of your file — the original stays untouched until you reset.
When you load a file, the tool first parses it as SVG (auto-vectorizing PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, or BMP input into paths) and scans for the things that make cutters choke: embedded raster images, open paths, and stray fragments. Remove raster embeds strips any <image> tags left over from a design-app export, since Cricut and Silhouette both need actual cut paths, not a picture pasted on top. Remove tiny fragments deletes shapes below a minimum size — set with the slider as a fraction of total canvas area, from roughly 0.0002 up to 0.003 — which clears out the leftover specks that make a blade stutter or a laser fire pointless micro-passes. Separate colour layers groups every shape by fill colour and builds one SVG per colour, so a three-colour logo becomes three ready-to-load files for layered vinyl or multi-mat cuts, downloadable one at a time or together as a .zip. The report on the right updates after every step, showing colour count, tiny-fragment count, open-path count, and raster-embed count so you can see exactly what changed. Export gives you either the single cleaned SVG or the full layer pack; DXF and EPS are not produced here — both Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Studio import SVG natively, so that's the format this tool targets.

Does it upload my artwork anywhere?
No, everything runs locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your SVG, PNG, JPG, or WebP file is not sent to a server — except the optional AI edit assistant, when you use it.
What does "remove tiny fragments" actually do?
It deletes shapes smaller than a minimum size you set with a slider, measured as a fraction of the canvas area, which clears out the stray specks and slivers that make cut lines chatter or fall apart on a Cricut or Silhouette blade.
